Teller County / Central Service Area CO - Comprehensive Salamander Training (New Version 3.0)

Description

The first half of the training day will cover the (ALL NEW) SALAMANDER LIVE VERSION 3, which is a credentialing and resource management tool funded by the Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management m(DHSEM). The new Salamander LIVE V3 database is packed with new features and a new user interface, this will be a great opportunity to learn about the new platform. This statewide solution gives all city and county agencies the ability to credential personnel/equipment and produce the standardized ID card credential. This then allows for seamless interoperability across all city and county lines. The resource information is housed in the web-based "Salamander LIVE" system. As of today, there is over 69,300+ people AND roughly 23,600 pieces of equipment in the “Salamander LIVE” database across the state of Colorado.
The second half of the day will focus on the Salamander "TRACK APP" (for smartphones and tablets) to conduct resource accountability. The Salamander "rapidTAG" (incident specific badging system) will be covered. The training will also introduce the NEW Salamander "EVENTS PRO" solution (web based electronic ICS flowchart for greater situational awareness) and Preplanning module will also be discussed. Using "Salamander LIVE", this course will also cover the ability to generate incident specific reports (including NEW personnel and equipment COST REPORTS. The Salamander "ASSET MANAGEMENT" (Inventory) module will also be covered to demonstrate all of the inventory capabilities of Salamander for fixed and consumable goods along with deployable/non-deployable equipment inside your organization.

TARGET AUDIENCE: State, County and local Emergency Management, Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement, Public Works, Public Health, City/County Administration or any personnel who will be part of an emergency or disaster response. And any individuals who want to learn more about the uses and benefits of this powerful and Credentialing and Accountability System.
